Design for Carranza & Carranza

About the project

I had the privilege of undertaking the interior design and furniture design for Carranza & Carranza jewelry stores, immersing myself in the challenge of creating a concept that not only aligned with the company's established aesthetics but also breathed new life into their brand with a fresher and more modern approach. To make a striking first impression upon entering the store, I designed an asymmetric pattern that echoed throughout the walls, using visually captivating squares of walnut wood. This design element immediately captures the attention of visitors, setting the stage for an immersive and captivating shopping experience.

At the heart of the store, I carefully arranged the exhibition area, paying close attention to the customer's request for consistency with their previous location. Here, the jewelry pieces are elegantly showcased, allowing each unique creation to shine and draw admiration from discerning eyes.

Moving towards the back of the store, we encounter the customer experience area, designed specifically to cater to the cherished "moment of love." This is a joyous tradition when couples select their ideal wedding rings. In this space, a dedicated counter awaits, where customers can explore an additional delight—a chocolate shop. This new offering from C&C provides a unique experience, allowing customers to savor specially crafted chocolates designed to complement the exquisite jewelry collection.

Throughout the project, I maintained a delicate balance between ensuring that the store's appearance remained consistent with other branches, and infusing a fresh and modern atmosphere befitting its unique location and the desired customer experience. It was of utmost importance to create an environment that not only resonated with existing patrons but also attracted new visitors seeking a blend of familiarity and contemporary allure.

The journey of crafting the interior design and furniture for the Carranza & Carranza Punto Valle branch was a labor of love. I took great care to create a space that seamlessly embodied the company's aesthetic principles while introducing elements that breathe new life into the brand. The end result is a jewelry store that pays homage to its heritage, while embracing the future with open arms.
